Warn hubs

a good score today, warn d60 hubs off cl. older guy just bought a house & found them in the garage, un-opened, & brand new. wanted $70, i called him & told him i would be there in 20 mins (35ish miles away). asked him if he had $10 change (had 4 twenties), he says you come a long way, just give me $60! yeah, their just standard hubs but for the price-no complaints

Re: Warn hubs

You gotta like those deals!! Your D60 hubs look different than ones on my crew, they have bigger hubs and hex bolts holding them on.Those look the same as my 3/4tons.

Re: Warn hubs

Can you by chance get me a picture of the dual shock setup on the actual axle housing itself i've never seen one on a d60 and they seem to be rare and was the dual shock setup already on there or did you put it on there?

homemade, low-buck. mounted each shock on the outside of the orig. shock bracket with a longer gr. 8 bolt & a piece of tubing in the middle of the shock mount to keep it from collapsing. i guess if your going to seriously thrash your truck, you could weld ears on for the outside of the shocks, been like this for 4 or 5 yrs- no issues. top bracket i threw together with some scrap plate. modeled it on the factory mount, just made it bigger, thicker, & added a gusset along the top
