Saginaw is cast iron that's Aluminum.
It's an MY6 A833 Overdrive 4 speed or I'll eat my hat. Hurst makes an OK shifter for that box.

From what I understand the Hurst original shifter is specific to that tranny. It is an overdrive unit. I would love to have that tranny if the shipping wouldnt kill me. Mine has a broken tab on the case and I want to have a spare.
