Frame questions

I am replacing the frame on my 3/4 ton 4x4 and can only find good 2wd frames. The one I want to get is off a c20 and has a little bit surface rust at the back. How different are the frames? I can change cross members if I have to and I j ow I will need the 4x4 rad support bracket for the perches.
Thanks

Re: Frame questions

What would need to be modified for the cab mounts? I can take off my crossmember and put it on the frame. I am going to be boxing it and adding some crossmembers to strengthen it

Re: Frame questions

C20 frame is lite duty compared to K20, see chart unless you have C6P option

Re: Frame questions

Does the donor C20 have a full floating rear? If it does it Probably has the C6P option and then would have a similar frame to the K20903. C20903 is a 2wd C20 pickup, K20903 is a 4wd K20 pickup.

Re: Frame questions

I don't think it did. Other than thickness what would be different with the frames?
