Seat belt color question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

hello everyone,

quick question. if an 81 to 87 truck had a carmine red interior, would it have bright red seat belts or normal burgundy seat belts like the ones sold in LMC ? pictures would be appreciated if anyone had any.

My '87 had burgandy.

Your interior isnt carmine red i think, am i correct ?

My bad - no Carmine in '87.

The choices were Burgandy or Mahogany (as well as Blue, Charcoal and SaddleTan); mine happens to be Burgandy.

If you know the specific year you are looking at you might try a search of dealer brochures for a representative pic:

sorry to hyjack, but what are the lmc belts like? I am needing a new set for my 76, and noticed they list from 73-87.. But I know they changed thro the years... Must be universal fit? Do they look stock?
