Heres one picture of the blazer, Paint isnt good, plan on redoing the paint with ????? color. not much rust on the blazer, 350 runs and drives fine.

Heres my breakdown of what i plan to do to it.

Check and redo all fuilds, filters, ect on the mechanical side.

Body work alittle here and alittle there and new fresh paint

New interior maybe rhino linned gray with all new seats and dash parts

New tires and wheels.

Im taking this project as a step by step blazer. Slowly but surely i will have a great looking blazer like yalls.

im not a huge fan of the chocolate stuffed oreo its is now, would like a red, gray, blue , orange paint job soon

Nice blazer. I like it. Start with fluids, brakes, suspension, and getting the engine running smooth. Interior next, body last. At least that's my method of madness.

I'm also new on this site from Houston TX, and I just bought a 72 Blazer that I will be starting on soon. New to this site not so much rebuilding off roaders. But will still have plenty of questions like ( did this 72 come with the spring over the axle stock from the factory)?

Thanks, thats what I thought. I guess since it came stock that way they don't have the axlewrap that after market spring overs do? Does anyone know what the minimum size lift I can put on it and run 35's would be? And whats up with this Throttle control know, is that mostly for use of the PTO? Sorry guys I've ordered my repair manual I just couldn't wait for it to get here to get some of these answers. I'm sure I'll get to know those of you who live here in the Houston area pretty well. My last 2 builds were a 78 blazer and a 72 Cj-5.

And that is what the idiot did to the roof before I could save it, any suggestions?

In terms of lift, for 35s, you best bet would be at least 4 inches, but 6 would be a safer bet. It also depends on how wide those 35s are gonna be.
