750cfm to 670cfm carb
I have a 71 350 C10 that the PO installed a 750cfm Holley carb on it. Would it cause a problem if I took the 750cfm carb off and installed a 670cfm carb on it? Will the smaller carb cause any problems?

You would see a small jump in MPGs. If you are not racing around the track or street it will cause no harm

A 750 Holley seems to be a little too big for a 350 without the work to justify it especially if it is a double pumper. I run a 600 Holley on a stock 350 and it runs great. Is there any engine mods like a bigger cam or higher compression heads with a bigger intake runner? And what is the intake manifold it will be going on.

The PO did do some mods. I'm only aware of the higher compression heads, HEI and aftermarket intake manafold.

The 670 is probably closer to ideal in airflow anyways.

I have a 670 on my 69 and it works real well , i agree a 750 might be to big for your motor.

You should be okay with the 670....have had 700's on my SBC before and its too much carb..even it its jetted etc.

750 is too much for your small block. Switch it out.

The smaller carb will be fine.It may improve street performance some since the air signal to the secondaries will be better.

Mine originally came with a 750 double pumper which was way too much for my mild 350. I've got a 670 Street Avenger now and it's a lot better.
