Oil pan depth with 63-66 c10
I just lowered my truck, I have an ls(4.8) and it has a truck pan on it now. I'm afraid it might be hangin too low. What pan have y'all used and/or which one could I use to gain clearance?
Thanks! Posted via Mobile Device

I had a similar problem with my 5.3 in my 68. I replaced the pan with a CTS-V pan and now it doesn't hang below the crossmember.

I ordered an F body pan for my swap. I believe it is the shortest pan.

This is what is on my truck, and the control arms are 3 inches off the ground.

Re: Oil pan depth with 63-66 c10
I bought a F-Body pan for my '66. It's much shorter than the 5.3 pan!
Found these pics that compare the two.
