Reintroduction, new truck
Hey all, I am not new, but it has been a few years since I have been on here. I sold my old Blazer awhile back. I have been tinkering with a 65 Fury for the past few years. I like it, but its next to impossible to find parts for, and I am finding that Mopars are probably more trouble than they are worth. Lesson learned, please go easy on me.
Anyway, I have been looking off and on for a cheap 67-72 body style chevy for awhile. Today I happened to be surfing craigslist, and came across a 72 Chevy C20. It was about an hour from my house but the price was right. Gonna need some work on the body, lots of it probably. But mechanically it is sound, with a 350, the entire brake system redone, new carb, etc. Gonna need new tires on it though. I didn't trust them enough to drive home on, so I am going back Monday night with a trailer to pick it up. Probably wont be on the street for awhile. Just hoping to do a somewhat low budget build and have a fun cruiser. Enough talk, here is a pic. I will post more once I get it home and start a build thread. |
