Finally got to drive it!

Took the 79 out for a nice drive today for the first time....ever. Had it for almost four years and it was only the fourth time I've ever driven it. It was the first time I've ever driven it over 5 miles. The motor still has less than 100 miles. I found a nice little country road and finally wore the nubs off the tires Still have a few brake issues to work out and then it should be good to go. But overall it was a great success, all is running smoothly, everything seems to be working fine. Kinda surprised lol!

Check out my build thread!!!!!

Re: Finally got to drive it!

Looks like a great truck man! I just recently got mine running 2 weeks ago from being down for an engine for 7 months. Nothing like being able to enjoy your work when it's driveable!

Nice looking truck. It makes me more excited to get done with mine. I hope you enjoy the truck everyday.

I used the cheap rattle can smoke/paint from O'rielly's. Works pretty good.
