My 69 LS Project
Decided to go ahead and start a build thread over here. Started with a 1969 C10 that has been in the family for 20+ years. This is prolly the 4th or 5th build on it but this time it's a all out full build. I'm build a full frame to lay rocker on a set of 20x9 Mobsteel Detroit Steelies on 275/45R20 tires. I am running a 3 link with 2x4x.250 lowers and a wishbone hooked to a custom 9inch rearend. I have a 5.3 LS that I'm boring out to run LS1 pistons and a 4 inch stroke crank which will make it a 383 with a set of 243 heads that I will have worked out as well. As far as the sheet metal going to be chopping the top 3 inches and I have a dash from a 55 Bel-Air that I will be fitting in. As far as the rest I'm still drawing and figuring out but it will be sick when I'm done. Here are some pics of what I've done so far.
