47 gmc bed question

can someone please tell me how many cross braces are supposed to be in the bed? there is the front one and the rear one but how many in between?
Should there be a cross brace at every hole in the corner strip that attaches to the bedside?

Your soon to be owned 59 uses the same bed as a 55-66 step side. The 47-early55 use a totally different bed. If you would get a LMC Catalog I think it would answer a lot of your questions you have about your grandfathers truck.
