Can't afford buddy buckets so I want to make my own

I have some steel, I have a box of those wiggly steel springy things somewhere, I have a welder, I have patience and time. All I need now is to see a naked buddy bucket and get the dimensions. Good source somewhere?

Yep, no luck other than the height seat. Maybe I didn't use the correct combo of words. I'm looking for the radius on corners, width of the frame, height of the frame from floor, etc. I was hoping for a decent drawing with these numbers, maybe I'm Hoping for too much? I'm going to add some custom features but want to get some good measurements before I start designing.

Here are a couple of threads with helpful information and pictures.
Remember there were also aftermarket replacement seats that were similar in style and fittment. Just base you frame on a factory bench seat and build up from there. Might take a look at classic jeep replacement seats for inspiration too.

I dont have any diementions too help you in your quest,but as tim mentioned there is alternatives that have the look with out the cost.
the seats in the jeep trucks look similar.
also alot of the large trucks have bostrom(the company that made the buddies) seats in them but usually the drivers seat is a airride but a combo of two passengers would work if you can find matching ones. also the seat sliders are practially the same peices.

I peiced this set togther useing early dodge van bucket seats and a international buddie seat frame and console the sliders came from the big truck like i mentioned above. a lil' fab a lil' paint and cleaning I'm into these for about $50 purists would laugh at them but for the price an looks they'll work for me.

with the little bit of fab i had too do i was able to fine tune the ds to fit an feel comfy too me i'm 6'2 an like a lil' more lean back instead of the straight up backs. the mounting of the frame wasnst spot on so i made the mounting brackets so that they will bolt to the oe mounts on the floor no extra holes in my floor

they look much better than what was in the truck when i bought it(second pic)
