Tire dummy

I currently have a set of 275/60 15s on my 70 lwb and was wondering if i could run some 31-10.50-15s. Those tires seem to be everywhere and a bit less expensive than the 275s. What's up? Will the 31-10.50-15s fit?

Re: Tire dummy

31x10.5x15 will fit,I recently mounted a set of MasterCraft HTR 31x10.5x15 on a set of 15x8 steel wheels and they measured 30" tall just sitting there not mounted on the car.

Re: Tire dummy

31/10.50-15s are just slightly narrower than your 275/60s, but they are about 2.5" taller (30.5" vs 28").... if that matters to you.

Re: Tire dummy

My last 3 trucks I've purchased BF Goodrich 31x10.5x15 All-Terrain T/A for all of them. Great tire, perfect fit & look.

About a year ago, I go to a Sears Tire Center to get a price on a new set. The moron behind the counter tells me there's no such size as 31x10.5x15, has to be a P(metric) something. I say look it up in your 'puter thinky box. Idiot!
