Rag Joint

Has anyone seen a rag joint with this wire? Is it a ground wire? Came off of a 72 Chevy. This is the only one I have seen.

Re: Rag Joint

Mine has that wire too. I recently replaced the steering box and cleaned things up while I was doing it. I must have missed the wire the first time while putting things back together...... Everything worked as it should including the horn. I saw the wire connector hanging out a bit later and took it apart again and installed it properly. Everything still works and now it's prettier.
