Is this an NP208?
Picked up an '83 K20 with an '87 drivetrain over the winter. Now that the weather is warming I can begin to fix a few issues. The transfer case leaks where the front driveshaft mounts, so I need a new seal. The prior owner told me it had an NP203. I looked underneath and it looked more like an NP208. I looked at the tag on the case and it appears to read NP203 or NP208 with half the 8 worn away. So, before I order any parts I figured I would snap a picture and get confirmation from the experts - this is an NP208 correct?
Thanks Doug |

Re: Is this an NP208?
Yes, 208. 203 & 205 are cast iron.
