Tahoe 5.3 into a 55 GMC 2nd series
I just bought my tank and Walbro 190 pump from Tanks Inc. All along I was sure that the Corvette fuel filter set up would work fine on my 5.3 that has two fuel lines, now I'm not at all sure. The question now is is there a way I can transition from the two lines on my engine to my fuel tank OR will I have to run two lines from the engine to the fuel tank? Will I need a regularor now?

If you run both lines you don't need the regulator. Its already build in the fuel rail, you would only need a prefilter.

Thanks 33, So it looks like I'm running two lines. I'll get a in-line filter and I should be good to go.

Re: Tahoe 5.3 into a 55 GMC 2nd series
you could change the fuel rail with one that fits your needs.
the metal ones like this are returnless

Kurt, I like that idea. I'll look into it for my engine. Thanks so much

And does anyone know, if you convert to a returnless rail do you have to use a different injector as well or are they the same?

Re: Tahoe 5.3 into a 55 GMC 2nd series
I don't think the injector would make a difference because of fuel rail return type....just has to fit the rail, fit the connector, and provide the required #'s of fuel the motor requires.
My truck is actually running Chrysler 50# injectors...
