how big of a tire??
I have a 96' S10 truck with the 15" stock aluminium 5 spoke rims (the non twist type). I believe they are 5x7's....how big of a tire will fit them. They have a 215/70/15 on them. Will a 225 or even wider fit them?

You will have no problemsfitting a 235 width tire on those 7" rims. Height wise clearing the frame and fenders is the difficult part. A stock height truck should clear a 235 70 15 with no problems.

yes, that's what I ran on m 98 2 wheel drive. I had the stock swirly wheels

Would lowering the front end with spindles still fit with 235/75-15 tires?
