Tire Size?

So I have a 1972 3/4 long bed 2wd. I have a set of 16" rims and need new tires. What is the proper size tire? overall diameter of 28" 30" 31" I just need to know. the tire that are on the wheels seem a little to big, but I can't remember the size...

Re: Tire Size?

Ebay for both rims and caps. The rims are from a F#rd van.

Re: Tire Size?

I have the same size tires (275-75-16) on my 72 K20 with 4:10 gears and the speedometer is within 1-2 mph according to my gps!

Re: Tire Size?

I have the same tire size on my 71 C20. The rims sicklajoie mentioned are a great option. If you have a junkyard nearby, any 71-87 Chev/GMC 8 lug will gfit anc clear your disk brakes. Also like Sicklajoie's michelins. I bought firestone transforce HTs and am very pleased with them so far.
