Re: My new duelly

That would be an excellant farm hauler. If your thinking mud truck or sand slinger in the desert, put some super singles on that thing with some lift. Oh yeah, and maybe some nicer wheels. But PLEASE, don't lower it! It would be easier if you gave us a picture of the entire truck instead of a nose. Lose the step rail but keep the splash guard (keep salt off) Throw a pipe bumper on the front.

Also, what do you do for a living? Do you tow very often? what kind of motor is in it? Transmission (auto or stick)? Is it low geared in the rear?

Re: My new duelly

It has a 350 that is shot... Literally like rod out the side shot. 4speed i'm not sure about rear end... And i plan on keeping it just like this. It's all origional with 98,258 miles. Tach all the pillar trim and even a wood grain steering wheel. I'm not for sure if i just want to put another motor in it or use the body for parts since my k10 is falling apart by the bolt.

Re: My new duelly

How much did you pay for that thing? That is a nice body! Why such low miles? Was it a city/fire truck at one time?

Re: My new duelly

848 fir the truck 175 tow home... So a hair over a thousand. And honestly i don't know. The junk yard had it in their parking lot here local and i wanted to save it from the crusher. It'll be body and interior parts for my k10. Only bad part is the duelly is 2wd

Nice save on that one man. It's incredible what people feed a crusher these days......
