need more lower!!

so my 78 has western chassis drop spindles and 1 1/2 coil cut up front and a flip with NO notch out back.. I cracked my frame by the steering box as well as bent the frame......heavily built 454 and drive it like you stole it mentality!
I have another shortbed frame thats waiting to swap over......what can i do to go lower than it is now?

Lower profile tires in the front and 2in drop shackles in the rear.

BAGS!!!!!! Haha But if you do stay static dropped, and go lower in the rear, you need a c notch. How much drop are on your spindles? They can drop up to 3 inches.

Section your crossmember for a 1 1/2 drop, and or a Z for up to 2 1/2 easily.

I've done both of these (2" Z) plus 2-1/2" spindles and one coil cut, And in the rear I made my own flip and have 4wd leaf springs. According to my measurements it's 7"/8-5/8" lower than stock, although the math on the front suggests 8". My truck is still a work in progress though.

Bag it or run a dropped crossmember. Unless your really good at fabricating I wouldnt consider a Z.

bag it!!......or...doin a 3" "z" in the front will def get you lower, and get those control arms up off the ground....and if it's too low just put stock coils back in. you can do drop shackles in the rear, with the flip, or just move the stock hangers up on the frame..you def will need a small notch of some kind tho...

i definatley want to bag it but dont have the funds..i have a set of 2 ing shackles somewhere.....just figuring the front out without z'ing is the pain in the dick

you can bag the front and run it off a schrader valve, that way its adjustable....and add the rest later...that's what I did, I finally saved up enough to get the accuair.....also the "z" is a piece of cake once you have the truck all torn apart...

X2 on the Z. If you are changing the frame out anyways then you are half way there. I didn't know what I was doing and mine came out *****en. If you have a welder and a grinder you are set.
One more thing that is usually overlooked. Go with a larger wheel. At least 18 or 20 even better. When you start lowering alot with 15 inch wheels it don't take much and you are below the bottom of the rims. Very unsafe. I was shocked at the change in clearance just going to a 20 inch rim. And so much safer should you have a tire blow.

Without raising the front crossmember,... going lower will only make the lower a-arms too close to the ground to be practical.
A Porterbuilt Dropmember would be my answer.

C-notching what you have and lower profile tires will help the rear with the addition of a drop shackle.
Lower profile tires up front,... is all you can do.
You are maxed out on front suspension static drop,... without addressing the crossmember issue.
