strange option

my 67 suburban apparently came with only one sun visor! not even holes drilled for the passenger!

wife will be bummed if she ever desides to step foot in it!

My 67 was like that too from the factory although it had 2 matching visors when I bought it. I know this because when I removed the passenger side, I could see where the dealer had used a hole saw to retro-fit it. It was definately not a clean factory job, but once installed you can't tell.

I'd bet your door panels don't have arm rests on them either!

Just tell your wife that her beauty shouldn't be hidden by some ugly visor. As for the lack of armrests, tell her that's to discourage slumping and to promote good posture. Now sit up straight and smile for the motoring public!

Yes, it's a small black plastic disc that plugs into the hole, about the size of a quarter.

Be forwarned, the aftermarket lighters they sell do not fit 67 cabs (there is no recess for the bezel), but the delete plugs are universal. You'll have to locate a used one somewhere.

If you decide to add a visor, make sure it has a mirror
on it. That is a big thing with a woman. It probably
will not matter what color the visor is as long as it
has the mirror.

Wow! I wasn't really sure what a "delete"
panel was. The PO hacked the dash for a
modern radio and I was wondering where I
could get one of these things to cover the
hole.

If that's a delete, it sure isn't the original one. The original one is flat. That looks like the cover on the 12V socket I put there (no lighter, I don't smoke anything other than the occasional tire and ricer ) - my truck originally had a lighter delete.
