Needing help id'ing a manual trans

I have had zero response in drivetrain so im hoping you guys can help. Ive got a transmission i pulled out of a truck, and i dont think its original.. The only #s i can find is on the side i found 3731911 and the tail has 3790570. It has gm 4. Then it looks like 182 possibly before it lists 3731911. Anyone know what this is from? Thanks
And is the bellhousing the same for a v8 as an l6?

Google both the case ane the tail nmbers. It looks like it might be a 3-speed saginaw vette trans.

Re: Needing help id'ing a manual trans

Im guessing its a 3 spd the truck it was in was a tree truck but this motor and trans wasnt original. It was a 66 gmc but this is a chevy inline. I thnk its a 250. I put it on a couple tires and it sat under a tarp and old truck hood for awhile i couldnt bring myself to scrap it
