Drive on ramps

I like using drive on ramps for oil changes and other stuff, and I was wondering if there is any of the ramps that are designed to give you a bit more height than normal? My truck is lowered, and would like to have some that would raise it a bit more.

Check out race ramps, They have ramps made from a lightweight High density foam. I believe they can custom make things but i could be wrong. One of their best features are the ramps you drive onto then pull the ramp part out of the way leaving only a "pedestal" under the wheel. Makes it much easier to roll around under there with the creeper.

I would drive up ramps then jack high enough to put heavy duty stands and good chocks and apply e-brake and leave jack under vehicle for good measure.

Look for a used kwik lift

I would think that kwik lift would be ideal for my limited 8' ceiling,wonder what setup u would have to have to pull a trans??Still would like to have one

I remember seeing that exact pic of that exact car on TGO! IIRC, he was selling the wheels.

All those manufactured ones are not cheap. I made my own out of Pressure Treated 2"x12" lumber for my low '87 GTA. Cut the tips at a 45degree angle, wood screws to hold them together and voila! Not exactly light, but not TOO heavy to use either. And it isn't like you really need to move them around that much/that far.
