Pics of round taillights on burb???
I have been kicking around the idea of installing Corvette Style taillights on my burb. So far I have come up empty on pics of anybody doing it. Anybody have anything?

Re: Pics of round taillights on burb???
In the 6 years I have cruised this board I have only seen one with the ZL1 style vette lights but I can't find a pic now. Would you do them in a roll pan or in place of the stockers?

I would install them in place of the stockers. I've always thought i looked odd to move them down to the roll pan. My brain just doesnt like nothing in the stock tail light location.
I've also been looking at Chevy HHR tail lights. |

I'v always thought that the Hummer H2 tails would be a pretty good fit, but I'm just going with truck tails on mine.
Is your shop out by the Roths and McD's?

Yep. About an 1/8 mile towards Mt Angel from Roths. Im on the left side at the corner of 1st & Jefferson. Silver Creek Auto Body & Detailing.
The Hummer ones would look cool. I was thinking round just to be different & take a bit of the squarness out of the rear end. |

Here is a super cheap & cheezy mock-up. I think I may go with the round tail lights from a 70-73 Camaro.

This is the only pics I know that I have. I believe they are 61 Impala taillights. I remember liking the way they looked back in 2002 on Donnie's Big Orange burb when this pic was taken.

Looks good! I was torn between painting my burb all black or all orange. Black won out but I still love the orange.
I ordered some very nice 80 diode 4" round tail lights with a chrome flange today. You will definately know that I am stopping! Lights are going to be inset to make them flush. |

Didn't read that you ordered lights before I made the post. Would be interested in seeing what these lights look light installed though. So keep up posted! |
