One And Done. The Porterbuilt sponsored 1959 fleetside.

One and done........Whats this all about? Thats going to have to wait until later. But for now, let me just give you a little bit of back story. A friend of mine who knew I was looking for a truck found my truck, in state. I drove at night for 4 hours by my self to get it from the old man who was letting it go. So I show up, it's dark. I'm using a flashlight on my phone to check everything out. And after a few minutes, I decide it's up to my standards for my plans. I load it up on the trailer and off I go. The whole ride home I'm just looking at the front of the truck, staring me down through the read view mirror of the truck Yezzi let me borrow to go get it, And I fell in love.

How you see the truck right now is pretty much how I got it. it was missing the rear bumper and the sun visor on the driver side, which I got right away and installed. After that I didn't touch it. I couldn't decide what to do. slam it? bag it? paint it? what interior color do I choose? factory wheels and caps or something different? I had no Idea where to take it. My last truck was a square. you may have seen it before on here. CLICK ME FOR A LINK TO IT That truck sat on the ground, and I loved it, so finally I make the decision. lay it out....

Since I was able to see Poncho in person, A truck built by Delmo using the front and rear Porterbuilt Dropmembers. I knew this was the best way. Nate and Dave from Porterbuilt agreed... and thats where we are today

The "One And Done" thing is already in the works, and I will let you all know as soon as I can. It does after all involve all of you and any of you that choose to be a part of something amazing. But for now....here is the truck as it sits.

If you made it this far, first of all thanks!! second, the secret to "One And Done" will be announced soon. within the next 2 weeks!

Man, that's a really solid truck to start with!

I have built dozens of '73-'87s, and I was a huge fan of your '84. That '84 was done nicely, and if this '59 is anywhere close to that level, it will be killer. With the team you've got to build this one, I think it'll be waaaaay better!
