Newbie with a 68 stepside project

I learned to drive manual shift at 12 years old on a 69' longbed and have always wanted to retore a 67-72. I settled on this 68' stepside.

First order of business is new trailing arms. The existing ones are BAD. If I had seen them better before driving it 90 miles home I probably would have trailered it.
It has some of the usual rust issues but not as much as some I have seen.
I'm thinking black for color.
