really High Sierra

while driving through the back roads of Missouri, we come around a curve and found this. Well, you know you have to stop when you see a square body 40 ft in the air. Turns out it is Frank and Zach Carters Take of parts. The have lots of late model take off parts and a few older parts too. I bought one of there rear sport bumpers for a square body. And the front clip of a 69, i plan on turning into wall art. they are Couple of nice guys.

I realized later that maybe I got a rear van bumper instead of a truck sport bumper. I guess i want know for sure till i try to mount it.

Re: really High Sierra

Neat!

Btw, truck bumpers have straight up and down bolt holes, vans are staggered.

Aside from the holes, I believe they are identical.

Re: really High Sierra

I've been passing that place for years. Never had time to stop...and they have sport bumpers!!! DOH. At one time they had a whole rack of GM original 88-98 crew cabs.

Re: really High Sierra

That place is nothing but bumpers. well what i thought were sport bumpers are van bumpers at least the one I pick out was. there were 2 chrome ones left. he had a 69 a/c cab out back and a square cab out there too. The building was was full of seats. and outside were lots of late model beds.
