A little set back with my air conditioning
Dress up my new 350 in my 79 and was working on mounting my air conditioning compressor when I noticed the electrical plug has been broken off. Damn, any body know where to get one for the best price? I have an AC Delco shop in town I am going to talk to them. Also I need the hoses from the back of the pump and was floored when I saw the cost upwards of $200. I may just go with the AC delete air box and be done.
Your thoughts

Re: A little set back with my air conditioning
Try the online OEM GM parts suppliers.
www.oewarehouse.com www.oehq.com www.autopartstomorrow.com www.rockauto.com www.gmpartsdirect.com One of those sites has an AC Delco parts catalog which shows pigtails/connectors - you can browse the listings until you find a picture of the one you need. If you can get the GM part number (from Rock Auto catalog or elsewhere) that would be your best starting point. OEhq and oewarehouse have free shipping over a certain low dollar amount. |

Re: A little set back with my air conditioning
I am thinking of going with the AC delete air box, just too much money for this, How hard would it be to put it on at a later date?

Re: A little set back with my air conditioning
I can't imagine the A/C hoses being that much. You might cehck 1-800 radiator too. It seems like the one I bought for my '87 Mustang that had the orifice tube it it was under $30. Apple to oranges, but it's still an older car.

Re: A little set back with my air conditioning
I have seen it in the LMC catalog, I think it is just the heater box that mounts to the fire wall. It is different if you have air, thinking of getting the one without
