Hey guys a outside visor is on my to do list for next few weeks anyone know who makes a nice one? Someone i know got one from.classic parts said it was crooked

It was a little crooked when it arrived, but no dents. I thought it might have been from the packing. I might be wrong ,but they come from overseas. I bet that pond ride might have some to do with it. I was able to twist it back into shape on the living room carpet pretty easy. I'd buy another, price was good and shipping was fast. They might all come from one supplier.

I have one from classic parts on Big Bertha. It was a little tweaked when I got it but was able to straighten it out. No dents just tweaked. Just be sure to mount it and make sure you are happy with it before you paint it.

do these visors have a lot of wind noise while you're driving? I've been throwing the idea around of ordering one for my 56 but I had a visor on my 95 Z71 and didn't like it at all

I don't notice any more wind noise than my other TF trucks that do not have one.

I dont know if you have looked for any yet. I love them. Everyone I know think that's what sets this truck apart. If you don't already have a set, expect to pay a pretty penny on some used ones. I once saw 1 rocket go on ebay in the same condition as mine for 450 bucks and people bid on it. And that was for only 1!! And it would still need to be rechromed. I have yet to find anyone selling new ones.

I got mine from "big Jims" did not fit very well i had to cut and weld it back on the ends it was around 30mm to long.

And it got lost in shipping for 3 months haha

but once all fitted love the look of them.
