1971 GMC Jimmy drivetrain and misc parts

Im replacing the entire drivetrain in this, as will be removing some other misc parts as well, so let me know if there is any interest

Engine complete with all accessories. (not sure what it is, but assume its a 350 has what sounds like a rod knock, but still runs at this time) Transmission, and transfer case, Front and rear axles, probably the fuel tank

I will be starting the removals this weekend, so hopefully this will all be available soon.

I would prefer to make some trades for parts that I need, and im not all that concerned if they are OEM or aftermarket:

List that I need:
1. Top
2. Rear Bumper and Brackets
3. Front Bumper brackets
4. Outer Grill shell
5. Tail lights
6. Body mount bushings and hardware
7. Rocker boxes
8. Rocker panels - outer
9. Inner fenders
10. Core support
11. Doors (will cut truck doors down if they are rust free)
12. Dash pad
13. Outer door panels
14. Rear pillar repain panels
15. Rubber seals for all doors

PM, or call / text me at 703-906-3344

Re: 1971 GMC Jimmy drivetrain and misc parts

I have a dash pad that was wrapped in dark blue vinyl that I will give you for your project if you pay the shipping for it.

It isn't the prettiest dash pad, but if you don't have one - it works.

I have always got help from the guys on this forum so I want to pay it forward.

Let me know.

I might have rockers as well, but I need to check the garage to be sure.

Re: 1971 GMC Jimmy drivetrain and misc parts

d.passmore: I dont remember seeing the kickdown cable, but will look this weekend, and I think the cover is there

72blazer: I have the seat belts, they are black and retactable, but the driver side doesnt retact any longer

Deadhead: The upper tube has a little surface rust, but very minor pitting, and I will have the check the dipstick and tranny tube over the weekend

Thanks! How's the metal under the hoses: rust holes or loss of metal? Hoping for one with little rust damage around the ends. No rush on the other pics. Pete

hi, looking for a good tail light wiring harness, and a v8 underhood engine harness. If you have either I would be interested.

Thanks

Re: 1971 GMC Jimmy drivetrain and misc parts

Deadhead, I pulled the ends off, and there is a rust hole in one spot, so I assume its not worth using.

Cam: I may have a tail light harness, but don't think I have an underhood harness that im not using.
