People who have lowered with shackles/hangers...

I need some pics of the hangers and shackles themselves... I must have something out of whack here because there is no possible way that mine are going to fit.

If you have LD springs, you will need to notch the bed cross sill to clear the shackle.

Pics would help, or a description of why you feel they will not fit.

Yep, you'll have to take out some metal out of that channel. I used a sawzall and took out about 5 inches and it clears just fine. That had me puzzled too when I was looking at it.

Yep, you have to notch it. Dont forget the width of the bolt, nut, and whatever is left of the bolt hanging out the nut.
Just did mine last month.

Only question Ive had since, do I need to worry about the pinion angle or is the 2" shackle not that big of a deal on a longbed?

If it doesn't vibrate/shake when you take off it's OK.
