Re: ballon tired big 67-72
Can't imagine what a 477 Diesel is, unless he is one number off and he means a 478 V-6 Toro-Flow.
Interesting truck. Although the Auto Trans would kill it for me. Nice condition and low miles though. Bill

the toro flow would kill it for me, besides when the wife takes it for groceries she would do better with the allison.

Pity there aren't more pics.
If he's lucky, his ad might catch the attention of some small town in fire country. 1972 G.M.C. 4 X 4 Brush Truck - $6900 (Republic) Fire fighting brush truck with a 650 gallon water tank built in. Only 36,000. original miles on this truck. Has a diesel motor 477 C.I. with an allision transmission and transfer case. Comes with a 3 inch gas water pump. All records for this truck since new. …Service Box in excellent condition. |

Re: ballon tired big 67-72
I had someone send me info and pics on this truck for sale elsewhere (Ebay?). I'm sure it's a Toroflow. Pretty unusual to find such a combo. I would buy that in a heartbeat if I was close enough. Lots of potential (Duramax swap) there. I'd take the pumper stuff out for my uses.

Re: ballon tired big 67-72
It seems like it would have a diesel pump though. Jay
