problems with turn signals

On my wife's 94 sunbird, I am having a problem and hope someone can help me out.

I need for you to email me and I can send you a schematic of the wiring I am talking about.

She doesn't have any signals at all. Just hazards, these work fine. The signals don't even light up on the dash or exterior lights. I have replaced the hazard flasher, and checked the column turn signal switch with a new one and still the same. I don't know if there is a seperate signal flash unit.

I have checked power going to the signals. When the signals are off I have power going to the switch, from the turn flasher. When I turn the signals right or left, I lose power at the same test spot.

Could someone help me figure out where else to look?

Haha, I am sure you have checked this already, but is the fuse burnt out? I am sure that there is another flasher for the single lights, most vehicles do that that system... My truck is really odd, one side blinks faster than the other, and the hazards go really really slow, which is odd becuase it only has two blinker modules...

signals

According to the schematic, there is 2 flashers, and 1 fuse. I know where the fuse it, it's good. It also controls my backup lights. The flasher for the hazards is good. I have looked every where and can't find the other flasher.

Now, between this unknown flasher and between my column switch, I checked for power. There is power in this line when the signals are not being used. Now, when I put on the left or right signal, that wire looses power. If anyone knows of these 94 sunbirds on where to look for this unknown flasher or would like to see the schematic, email me. I have the schematic copied in my files to send out.

signals

I know where the hazard flasher on the fuse box is. I replaced it. Now I am trying to hunt down this "unknown" flasher. According to Haynes book, it is near the fuse box, or next to the column. Came up empty handed on both ends. No empty slots on fuse box either.

signal problem

Anyone else want to help me figure out this problem. I have a wiring schematic I can email you and explain what I found out that's running thru the wires when.
