C20 Rear wheel nut lock washer? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Ok, I'm at a loss for ideas on what these things are called so using search it out and I need 2 new ones.

On a 3/4 ton with Eaton rear, the rear outer hubs are held on by 2 large nuts. In between them is a funky looking locking washer with tabs that you bend to lock the outer nut in place.

WHAT ARE THEY CALLED??? And where can I buy 2 new ones? Mine have most of the tabs broken from all the years of being put on/off.

I forget what they call them, but I found them on NAPA's web site. My local NAPA store said they were a dealer only idem, but their site had them. Hope this helps.

It is a pretty standard part. Same application in my 72 book going back to 46 and forward to at least 85 in newer listings.

Having that Dorman number really helped me search.

I found the price is all over the place on these little things. Autozone wanted $13+ dollars for one! Even Summit was $5.95 each.

I went with Rock auto. Getting 2 with the shipping for $5.84 Can't beat that!
