ECU mount

I finally got the truck started, but now I'm trying to figure out where to mount my ECU, I know a few guys have mounted it on the drivers fender, but I was thinking about putting mine underneath the dash somehow. I was hoping that maybe I could see what a few people have done with there ECU's.

Thanks in advance,

Brandon

Re: ECU mount

Try searching and you'll find some. I do like how 68 short step mounts ECM directly behind the motor on the firewall. Simple. Hidden yet accessible if needed.

Re: ECU mount

Yeah, but I've already got the motor in and wasn't really wanting to mount it there.

Re: ECU mount

I made a new glovebox out of fiberglass and reinforced the bottom to hold the weight of the computer. it will sit flush with the bottom of the dash so it wont be seen.

Re: ECU mount

I like that glove box mount. But I think I will do something like the battery tray mount.
