g-body axle swap?

i'm looking at a front brake upgrade as well as some different wheel options, so i need to change over to a smaller lug pattern/bolt circle. does any one know if i can swap the axles from a g body i have to my '80 c10 rear? not the entire diff-just the axle shafts.

Re: g-body axle swap?

Most G-body rears are 7.5" with small axle shafts. If you actually have a 8.5" G-body rear then sell it, they go for 750 to 1k+

Re-drill or adapters are your options, re-drill being the best.

Re: g-body axle swap?

Someone posted some fairly inexpensive new axles on here awhile back, not a bad price for them......anyone remember ?
