I live down in Rhode Island and what I have noticed down here is that all the smaller yards that used to let you pull whatever are either gone out of business or are headed that way. It seems that in the last 10/15 years or so alot of em around here have gone away. There are still a few but they are only getting picked over harder and there isn't much worth the trouble of getting it seems. Still plenty of larger outfits though I think that is just the way things are going (bigger yards with computer databases and such) the few that I know of around here you wouldn't even want to go out in the yard during business hours because you would be liable to have the backhoe drop an extra car ontop of the one that you're under. Good luck though, I really don't know of any yards up your way but if you look in the local yellow pages you are bound to find some.
