pic 2
started to remove the rust but got side tracked with moving and forgot about it. it is also slightly tweaked you may be able to see it in the pic. one side sets about 1/4 inch higher than the other

last one
it does run. it was on my truck when i bought it. i pulled it off to see if it would work. it's been setting in the garage for about 3 months. it's dirty but run it for about 5 minutes in both directions to verify that it works.

Jason, I assume by tweaked you mean the carrier is bent a little? Would it work as is(my 72 doesn't have one and I've never even seen one), or could you put it in a vise and un tweak it to make it work?
I am still interested but Frank Hoy has first dibs
Mike

mikeculpepper: yes it is bent a little. it can be bent back. you can see it by looking at he picture. you can see that one side looks to be higher than the other side. it is on the side that i started to take the rust off of. it will fit your 72. i think all are pretty much the same until you get to 88-up. thaks, jason
