dash oil pressure gauge ??
got a 83 6.2 diesel / dash gauge dont show much oil pressure running , motor runs good ! replaced sending unit on engine ,same thing, are the dash gauges known for going bad ? might have to install a after market oil pressure gauge ? do the 6.2 engines carry much oil pressure ?thanks

Ground the sender wire. It should read 0.
With the sender unplugged it should nail the gauge at the top just like the fuel gauge. You can check the sender with a multimeter. Probe from the body to the electrical connector. Proper sender ohmage for a 60PSI sender. 0PSI is 0-2Ω 30PSI is 44-46Ω 60PSI is 88-90Ω
