Another axle code request.

I found a 10 bolt rear end I may buy to install in my 1968 GMC C15 pickup. I was told it is out of a 1990 R1500 surburban. The code stamped on the axle tube is PNU G169 1. I believe the G169 is the date. Can anyone tell me what the PNU decodes to? Thanks.

Re: Another axle code request.

Never mind. The price was right. Pulled the cover. It's a 8.5", open differential, 3.42 ratio. I'll use it after a rebuild, hopefully with a posi carrier.
