gas feed cable

can anybody tell me what kind of gas feed cable to use i have tride a 26 in, and loop it but it was hard to push what is everbody using

I've always gone to the wrecking yard with my tape measure and started sticking my head under the hoods of early 70's to mid 80's rear wheel drive GM car until I found something that would work. It still has to match your pedal and what ever fitting is on the carb if that fitting isn't removable. It also has to work with the pedal you are using That is unless you spent real money and bought an aftermarket pedal and cable.

The Lokar ones work great as they are cut to fitand you can fine tune it perfectly.

Using a Lokar thru floor gas pedal and you want a stock looking pedal ?

Take a stock TF pedal and with a slight mod to the back side (grind off the rubber hump) and it slips over the Lokar pedal.

Now screw, glue (silicone dabs) or rivet it to the Lokar pedal.

G&R, have you done that? That's exactly what I am intending to do. I picked up a used Lokar thru floor pedal at a swap meet this past February and I have a new original style accelerator pedal that I intend to adapt to it. I'd like to see some pics if you have done it already.

I've got the pedals and put them together. I'm a long way from installing them on my truck.

A friend of mine was complaining about getting a hot foot (likes to drive bare foot)from his Lokar pedal, so I grabbed my parts ( NOT those parts ) and came up with this idea.
