I used paper to make templates for the curvy parts of the floor so it would pay flat. Worked very well.

i started on the back of the cab and worked my way foward i bought my kit from mrhino on this site his product was great and much cheaper than the name brand stuff

50sqf should do you. i bought 100sqf for my crew, from firewall to rear wall plus both sides in the doors, up in the pillars, none on the roof. had 4 or 5 sqf left over.

You might look at peal and seal from Lowe's same stuff basically and cheaper. This is the only link I found quickly but it comes in much wider rolls, 3 ft I think.

Wear thick gloves the edges are sharp on some brands.And a good floor roller to smooth it out helps a lot.

I used a 58sqft kit from Mrhino. I did the entire back wall floor both doors and a few strips on the roof.

peel-n-seal, hush mat, fatmat, etc. dont really soundproof your truck, there more like dampners. they kill rattles & vibrations in your sheet metal. if you want real noise reduction, lay in some lead or mass loaded vinyl or something similar. peel-n-seal will kill rattles in your sheetmetal, but it's more asphalt based instead of butyl, & usually your truck will stink for a few days. it should also not be used on overhead surfaces, in really hot or really cold weather, it can fall off. i recently put fatmat & mlv with a foam decoupler in between in my crew, difference is like nite & day

I have Peel & Seal in both my trucks, no "smell" issues at all, ever. P&S is NOT as good as the name brand stuff, and yes, it will fall off the roof in hot weather.

No smell experienced, course it is usually laid down well before a car is finished and is let open in an open shop, so we may not notice it. As far as releasing from the roof, I have seen that in the Florida heat, one of the cures is to overlay it so it sticks to itself and use the supports in the roof structure to trap it in place, this would not work in a truck with no exposed support beams. Is make a vehicle CONSIDERABLY quieter and cooler in my experience.

Peel n seal is better than nothing at all and is comparable to a few of the name brand dampeners. That being said it is not made for sound deadening. I found a link somewhere where they legitimately tested its sound deadening qualities compared to a real sound deadener.
Results were with 100% surface coverage with peel n seal, equivalent to 25% coverage of real sound deadener.

how do yall know where all your mounting holes are, how about fitment for the door sills and all? im hoping once i get my jeep back on the road to take my truck down and re-do the interior and something to put on the floor after new floor pans and all is definately in the works.

I hand tightened bolts for seat and seat belts. And trimmed around. The sill trim has been patched so new holes are will be needed
