Park Brake Cable

Was wondering if anyone has removed the long rod and pivot used for the park brake and gone with a cable from a donor vehicle or aftermarket cable? Pics and info would be great. Working on a 57 TF...

thanks Orrie! My plan is to retain the stock park brake handle, and rear linkages (if possible) and weave this stuff around the CPP frame mounted master and booster.

So you used a 74 truck cable?

I will check to see if I can use the same cable for my application but you have definitely helped me (as usual).
