5.3 LS engine

2002 Chevrolet 5.3 LS engine, with 120K on it. Complete from intake to oil pan, does need 3 coil packs (they were broken when it was hoisted out of donor truck). Was going to do an LS swap but decided to stay old school. No wiring harness, it's a DBC TB. New engine stand not included, but can buy for extra $50. Not gonna even try and ship, pickup only. Compression is good, I manually turn the crank over a few times a few month to keep things moving. $SOLD

Re: 5.3 LS engine

What about the front accessories? Wish shipping was an option. this sounds like a decent deal.

Re: 5.3 LS engine

Did you hear this run? And do they have the same trans bolt pattern as old school sbc? May go this route.

Re: 5.3 LS engine

It's actually not to hard. Just pallet, wrap and and good a freight liner. Business to business is the cheapest.

Re: 5.3 LS engine

2002, no i did not hear it run. but got it from a reputable salvage company that gave a 30 day warranty. compression feels good when you turn it over manually.

Re: 5.3 LS engine

Rob are you willing to pay $450 + palleting and shipping cost? I have a buddy who has a shipping business - not sure if he does stuff like that but I can check. I suppose truck freight is cheapest. Shoot me a pm if you're serious and I'll ask him.
