c20 cheep drop help

So experts in c20 suspension I've torn everything apart for my complete rebuild of my c20 and now I would like to drop it a little. So I know I can cut my coil springs a little and take out some leafs but I don't know how much to take out.so I've never been steered wrong buy anyone from this site so what have u guys done, how much drop, maby pics? (everyone likes to show there truck off) thank u for all your help.

I would buy a drop kit this way you know how much of a drop you got,Cutting the springs and taking leafs out will work but if you cut too much or take too many leafs out it will ride rougher or be lower then you want.

True but I don't have the cash right now for a flip c notch kit, drop spindles, new bushings and everything else that goes along with dropping it right. That will happen eventually but down the road when I can do it right. I just don't like the stock hight and I would like to get it a little lower. Like 2 maby 3inches.

Cut 1 coil, should get you 2", go to the parts store buy some shackles for $40 and remove you overload and maybe a leaf depending on how many are in the leaf pack now.

So drop shackles around hear are ALOT more then $40. Do u have an idea of wear I could get them for cheeper?

x2. look online like summitracing or jegs. that will be 2" front and read for about $40-50 bucks and a few hours work
