You should be able to use headers that are for the same year camaro.

I'm confused like pop's c-10 seems to be. 1982 was the first year for the third gen camaro.....not able to pull the cilp off the car.....has to be a second gen clip....

Re: What headers for clipped 57

Yes, if the steering box is in front it's 71-80 Camaro or firebird 75-79 Nova
If the box is in back it could be a 67-70 Camaro or a 68-74 Nova

There are some other ones but they are buick or olds and pontiac
If I'm wrong somebody correct me PLEASE

Hopefully it's a 72 Camaro clip and I'd say out of that 60 unit selection a lot of them are Plain, black coated or silver coated giving one style three part numbers.

On my 48 when I had the rear steer Camaro clip under it I just used a pair of Rear Steer headers that I picked up at the local speed shop (we actually had one then) nothing fancy, just street headers that cost around 100 bucks at the time. They fit great with no extra dinging or modification. Also they tucked up in the frame pretty well for ground clearance.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
