Correct lugs + where to buy for 6lug rally wheels

I used the search but I didn't get the results i needed. I want the correct lugs for my newly purchased original 6lug rally wheels. I know 7/16-20 is my correct stud but want the lugs to seat properly.

Thanks guys
Adam

I would just purchase the lug nuts off ebay, because you can find them fairly cheap. Like these... http://www.ebay.com/itm/LUG-NUTS-BUL...95e0a2&vxp=mtr

That being said, rally wheels were not offered on 67-72's, just good old steel wheels, so not sure how scrupulous you would need to be on original rally wheel styled nuts. You could get the threaded nuts with caps, but I think plain old acorn nuts look best.

Hey those will work. I had just seen that on my rally's it looked as if the lugs should have a "washer" style bottom to seat inside the rim. I threw some acorn nuts on temporarily and they seemed to seat ok. Just wanted to make sure I was making the best choice. Thanks!

I bought my lug nuts at autozone. Strangely they come in packs of 4 LOL.

Check with member DaHos from Michigan on the parts board. He was selling sets and may have some left.

Re: Correct lugs + where to buy for 6lug rally wheels

My apologies, I don't see anywhere that says Adam is putting these on a 67 - 72 pickup. I can see how easy it is for a young person getting involved in this hobby to assume that they are "original ralleys" since 8 out of 10 of these 67 - 72 trucks have the incorrect original rally wheels on them.

Adam you need a 7/16 x 20 with a 60 degree taper. If it is a plain lug nut, chrome lug nut or acorn lug nut, that is your choice. Have fun installing these wheels on what ever it is you are installing them on and it is a good idea to check the torque on them on occasion.

It's a pretty easy assumption since the last 6 lug 2X was built in 1970. 4X4 still run 6lug, but 4X4 was not mentioned either.
