Need 12 bolt rear advice
Looking for compatible 73 and up 12 bolts to bolt up to stock 70 GMC leaf springs. I know
They got wider in 71, it's the saddle and shock mount locations that concern me. Any info would help. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Need 12 bolt rear advice
You will prob have to go the hard way and grind off the leaf pads and move them to a new location. Same with shocks.

Kinda figured that, was hoping to avoid it though.

Re: Need 12 bolt rear advice
The leaf spring pads are in the same location 67-72 2wd and 73 up. The 67-72 4wd are different by about an inch. Also, the 70 6 lug should be the same width as 71-72 5 lug. Are you looking to convert to 5 lug?
