Re: The first meeting in Kuwait more than 50 trucks

You guys definately like red and beige, or what?

What's about the originality of the trucks? Is that required over there or just taste? Also for the cab lights and the high tires..

Just curious..

There is an Arabic saying not for the varying tastes are not carried out the goods .

There are many wonderful colors such as red, beige or blue, and so on.There are special touches in the youth of the Arabian Gulf in general ..There are some differences from loving in the United States, but all share in the love of competition this hobby certainly .

Thank you again

Re: The first meeting in Kuwait more than 50 trucks

I too am amazed at the condition of the original looking trucks. Many look like they just rolled off the production line. The middle-east must make for a great time capsule. Right on! Oh and I've never seen such a collection of roof lights. Is it a law to have roof lights or a trend?

I think a lot of it has to do with what we (GM) as a manufacturer offered as available.

In order to minimize proliferation we would only offer certain models and options, in limited fashion.

For what it is worth, the only plate that is clear says Kuwait but the others look like Saudi plates (Google Images) with KSA on them.

State does not allow us to export cars only after the passage of 40 years so we issue to the port of Dammam in Saudi Arabia and then we enter Kuwait

There is not a law but are original Mer remix it from an authorized dealer in the Middle East and branded (Jmyahyat) relative to the name of the agent
