Whats the reason why do people relocate the gas tank when you have air bags ??

The bottom of the stock tanks are lower than the pinch weld and frame.

To my limited knowledge, no, not without a lot of work.
I've never attempted it, but I don't believe the extra inch is there to work with. So it'll have to come from somewhere. Shorter (height) of the tank or rework the cab floor.

A few people make the tank shorter if they want side saddle or they can use a small fuel cell.
